Emily Blunt ‘Definitely’ Wants Kids With John Krasinski

Emily Blunt is “definitely” looking forward to having children with husband John Krasinski. The Adjustment Bureau actress married The Office star last July and while they have no immediate plans to have kids, Emily says she knows John will be a great father because he is “well practised”. She said: “Johns well-practised. I grew up with a younger brother and sister who are quite a bit younger than me. So, at 8 years old, I was sitting there with a baby, probably really pissed off [because] he was puking on me.” Asked by The Daily Beast if the couple are planning to start a family of their own, Emily replied: “I dont know when, but at some point, definitely,” adding that at the moment they are enjoying “that endless understanding of what each other does, and celebrating being a couple”. Emily has previously spoken of her desire for children but admitted for now her career is more important as she doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of her mother who gave up acting to have a family. The actress – who has three siblings – said: “I come from a big family and I’ve always wanted children, but not quite yet. Yes, mum gave up her career, but it’s a different age now. “I’m lucky in that, hopefully, I will have established myself more than my mum was able to before she had children. I think it will be easier for me. But, honestly, I don’t know what I’m going to feel until it happens.”.”

Emily Blunt’s Grandmother Suffers Stroke

Actress Emily Blunt has heaped praise on Britain’s National Health Service (Nhs) after witnessing the “tremendous” care her grandmother is receiving after a recent stroke. The Devil Wears Prada star is delighted with the help doctors have offered her nan following her health drama – and admits she’s upset the same publicly-funded care is not offered in the U.S. She tells British journalist Piers Morgan on his new Cnn talk show, “There isn’t the same support to help people, as where we’re from. My Grandma is in hospital right now and getting taken care of tremendously well. “My mum and I were saying it’s remarkable she’s got that help. She’s just had a stroke and is being well looked after. It wouldn’t be the case (in America).”

Emily Blunt Has University Regrets

Emily Blunt regrets not going to university. The British actress – who landed her first movie role in Boudica aged 20 – thinks by skipping higher education she missed out on the chance to learn about life and make mistakes away from the public eye. She said: “I just wish I’d had that experience and that time to really mess up, and to be around fellow people who had no idea that they were throwing caution to the wind.” The 28-year-old screen beauty admits she has made bad decisions trying to keep up with other stars, and is grateful to have settled down with someone who makes her feel fulfilled. She added in an interview with The Times newspaper: “When you’re attempting to grow up at an accelerated rate, in order to have some kind of acceptance among your peers, I think you’re dancing as fast as you can sometimes. “I feel like I’ve been on a big learning curve. I’ve messed up and I’ve arrived out the other end. “And I’m lucky to have ended up with John and to realise that relationships don’t have to be an endurance test. “I feel personally fulfilled right now, and lucky enough to have in John someone who is truly comfortable in his own skin and truly knows who he is.

Critics Choice Awards Images

I have added images of Emily at the Critics Choice Movie Awards, from last week.

here is a small article i found about the event:

In a segment presented by Jimmy Kimmel and Emily Blunt, Damon was given the fourth annual Joel Siegel Award for Service to the Community. While Kimmel provided comic relief, joking that the Oscar winner is “the greatest guy in the world,” the actor received serious accolades for his charity, Water.org.

Blunt, who stars with Damon in the upcoming film “The Adjustment Bureau,” explained that the organization Damon co-founded with Gary White helps to “provide developing countries with safe drinking water and sanitation by partnering with local communities.”

As Blunt delivered the staggering statistics that less than 1 percent of the Earth’s water is drinkable and more than 1 billion people don’t have access to clean water, Kimmel continued to kid with Damon, telling him, “Sean Penn is actually in Haiti right now … carrying things!”
