Nope, I’m not dead. My real life was just keeping me busy and stressed these last few weeks. BUT there’s a lot new (new additions, new features) just around the corner for you guys. Stay tuned! 🙂
I have to put this site on hiatus. I’m really sorry, but there’s this really important exam just around the corner and I have to spent my free time preparing for it. I promise, I won’t be gone for too long. See you in early May!!! 🙂
Emily Blunt had to fight to land her ballerina role in new thriller The Adjustment Bureau – because director George Nolfi wanted to cast a professional dancer. The Devil Wears Prada star was determined to change Nolfi’s mind after falling in love with the script, which is loosely based on author Philip K. DICk’s short story, Adjustment Team. She says, “I read the script and then about six weeks later, I finally got a meeting with George. I would call my agency and they would say, ‘No, no, they’re only meeting dancers.’ He said he wanted a dancer and I said, ‘I think you’re wrong, I think you should have me!'” But Blunt admits she struggled to stick to her strict diet and perfect her dance steps as she prepared for the shoot: “I had about eight weeks before the movie started… so I was in the dance studio and in the gym. It’s the most demanding thing, physically, I’ve done.”
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt share poop-scooping duties for their pet dog. The Office star and his actress wife own a red Labrador named Finn and the actor insists neither of them shirk their responsibility when it comes to picking up his mess. He revealed: “We wanted to get a dog together. It’s a huge boost to your confidence in the other person when you see how willing and able they are to take care of something with you. Normally you’ll see one person get sidelined with, ‘I don’t want to pick up poop,’ or, ‘I forgot to give the flea-and-tick medicine.’ The fact that we both do it is fantastic.” Just as he feels he has learned a lot about Emily, 28, by watching her care for their pooch, John says they have learnt a lot from each other about how to cope in the acting world. The 31-year-old star insists they support each other in all their career decisions and he believes it’s important to have that professional empathy. He added in an interview with PARADE: “I had always heard, ‘Never date an actress – it’s too competitive, too dramatic.’ But we’re so lucky to have each other. She understands the stress level involved, the amount of work. That’s completely priceless. For many reasons, Emily is perfect for me“.
Emily Blunt is “definitely” looking forward to having children with husband John Krasinski. The Adjustment Bureau actress married The Office star last July and while they have no immediate plans to have kids, Emily says she knows John will be a great father because he is “well practised”. She said: “Johns well-practised. I grew up with a younger brother and sister who are quite a bit younger than me. So, at 8 years old, I was sitting there with a baby, probably really pissed off [because] he was puking on me.” Asked by The Daily Beast if the couple are planning to start a family of their own, Emily replied: “I dont know when, but at some point, definitely,” adding that at the moment they are enjoying “that endless understanding of what each other does, and celebrating being a couple”. Emily has previously spoken of her desire for children but admitted for now her career is more important as she doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of her mother who gave up acting to have a family. The actress – who has three siblings – said: “I come from a big family and I’ve always wanted children, but not quite yet. Yes, mum gave up her career, but it’s a different age now. “I’m lucky in that, hopefully, I will have established myself more than my mum was able to before she had children. I think it will be easier for me. But, honestly, I don’t know what I’m going to feel until it happens.”.”
