The British actress keeps it casual with hubby John Krasinski – most of the time.

Think Emily Blunt‘s day-to-day existence is as glamorous as the day she got married almost three years ago to John Krasinski at George Clooney‘s Italian villa? Think again.

“I spend my life in sweatpants and covered in mud,” Blunt, 30, tells InStyle for its May cover story, as she also admits to letting the couple’s oversized lab, Finn, cuddle beside them in bed.

That doesn’t leave a lot of extra space because, as she puts it, “I have an enormous husband – he’s 6’3″! – and an enormous dog.” The British actress also says her star husband has an enormous heart.

“Meeting John really changed my life,” she tells the magazine. “When I feel the support I have from him, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days.”

Besides, he makes the dinner reservations.

That’s no small favor to Blunt, who overcame a significant childhood stutter and still sometimes struggles to talk on the telephone.

Today, the A-list actress is relishing the start of her 30s – including her role in the new film Arthur Newman alongside Colin Firth – and is excited about good things ahead.

“Whatever those good things are, I don’t even know,” she says. “But I am a hopeful person.”
