The 1941 horror movie The Wolfman, which starred Lon Chaney Jr., has been remade and will be coming to theatres on February 12, 2010. Following the eventual success of New Moon, in which werewolves are featured prominently, it seems this could be a big hit as well. Werewolves will duke it out with the vampires and the fur will definitely fly!
The remake stars Benicio del Toro who returns to his home country in Europe. Before you can say wolfsbane, he is bitten and things really get hairy! Sorry for the clichés folks!
The film looks handsome and the leads appealing. The movie also stars Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins. Will the movie be a success, or will it bite the silver bullet?
The official website has the trailer. Check it out and sound off below!

After being trussed up in bone-crushing corsets to play the title role in Young Victoria, Emily Blunt has found a project that will hopefully involve a less restrictive wardrobe.
Mandrake hears that the enchanting 26-year-old actress is to play a ballerina who throws the life of a congressman, played by Matt Damon, into turmoil in a sci-fi thriller entitled The Adjustment Bureau.
If the clothes are more comfortable, the part still has its challenges. “I’m going to dance boot camp,” says Blunt. “I’ll never be at the same standard as a professional, but hopefully I’ll be able to do a little bit.
“I didn’t do ballet when I was a child. I gave it up when I was three – in some sort of bratty rage, claiming it hurt my feet.”
Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker”) has been cast in “The Adjustment Bureau,” MRC’s sci-fi thriller for Universal with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt starring, and George Nolfi directing from his own script.
Nolfi also will produce alongside Chris Moore, Michael Hackett and Bill Carraro.
“The Adjustment Bureau,” adapted from Philip K. Dick’s short story, centers on a smooth-talking congressman whose political future is thrown in doubt by the arrival of a mysterious ballerina in his life.
Mackie is appearing in “The Bacchae” in Gotham as part of Shakespeare in the Park. “The Adjustment Bureau” will shoot in New York immediately following the wrap of the play.
